125 years on: the first motorcycles from Mladá Boleslav

On 18 November 1899, Laurin & Klement introduced two types of single-cylinder motorcycles featuring an in-house designed engine, electromagnetic ignition, and a fuel tank protected by a tubular frame. The rear wheel was driven by a leather belt.
