The L&K Type B ‘motorised two-wheelers’ were powered by an air-cooled 240cm3 single-cylinder four-stroke engine; the standard version had an output of 1.75 hp (1.3 kW) and reached speeds of 40 km/h (25 mph). The model had neither a clutch nor a gearbox and had to be pushed to start. The rider could assist the engine by pedalling.
