115 years of Škoda motorsport
130 RS – One of the most successful race cars of the 1970s and 1980s in its class. It triumphed in local rallies already in 1976, its first season, but the climax came at the prestigious Monte Carlo Rally in 1977, when the car scooped the first two places in the under 1,300 cm3 class. One year later, the ŠKODA 130 RS won the Swedish Rally, and in 1980 the car dominated the Barum Rally by taking the first five places. The biggest achievement in circuit races was the 1981 European Championship title in the Manufacturers Cup.
