Parking in the city can be annoying for many drivers. If you often find you must drive all over town searching for a sufficiently large parking space, try following these simple instructions. You can learn in a few minutes how to park like a pro.
ŠKODA CITIGO is the smallest and the most agile car in the ŠKODA model range. The car with the length of 3,597 mm and the width of 1,645 mm is the ideal companion in city traffic. However, the size is not the only advantage this car offers. Its outer turning diameter is mere 9.8 metres and CITIGO is therefore able to manoeuvre in very small spaces. In other words, parking with this car is very easy.
CITIGO with its wheelbase of 2,420 mm has short overhangs at the rear and front. The car is therefore exceptionally easy to control and excellent visibility of the space around the car. This is one of the reasons why we have nominated this model for our Parking Challenge. We have invited the youtuber Pedro and presented the parking challenge to him under the supervision of an experienced instructor. You can see for yourself in the video how he faced the challenge.

HOW CAN YOU MASTER PARKING ALONG THE CURB? THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE SIMPLE AND CAN BE SUMMED UP IN THE FOLLOWING FOUR STEPS:
Stop next to the car behind which you wish to park with the rear bumpers of both cars aligned. Steer the wheels to the maximum.
Start to reverse and once your car is turned at approximately 45° to the curb, straighten the wheels and continue reversing in a straight line.
Once the edge of your bonnet on the road side is at the same level with other cars in the row, turn the wheels to the maximum in the opposite direction and reverse to the end point.
You only need to straighten the wheels towards the pavement and align your car in the row.
Congratulations, you have parked your car successfully!
