ŠKODA KAROQ: No More Secrets!

The new ŠKODA model’s long journey across Europe culminated Thursday evening at the modern Artipelag exhibition hall in Stockholm, Sweden. ŠKODA KAROQ overcame its shyness, threw off its camouflage, and presented its alluring curves not only to the audience in the hall but also to the whole world watching the presentation live online.

ŠKODA’s key personalities responsible for creation of the new model were of course in attendance at the gala evening. The vehicle was presented by ŠKODA’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr Bernhard Maier. Among his comments, he pointed that the new compact SUV has in recent months driven more than 2 million kilometres in testing before being presented now to the public. Mr Werner Eichhorn, another Member of the Board of Directors of ŠKODA, recalled that ŠKODA had doubled the volume of its vehicle production over the past ten years. Nor did ŠKODA forget any of the functions typical of all ŠKODA models, such as ‘Simply Clever’ solutions. Inside KAROQ, you will find an umbrella under the passenger’s seat, an ice scraper in the fuel tank cap, a detachable flashlight in the luggage compartment, and many practical stowing areas.

The new KAROQ’s settings can also be optimized for as many as three drivers, who can easily set up to 200 of the vehicle’s parameters! These include settings of the infotainment, air conditioning, driving assistants and seats. Based on the key, the vehicle automatically recognizes the driver and adjusts all the settings on its own.
