Mladá Boleslav, 8 January 2025 – The new Škoda Enyaq delivers state-of-the-art connectivity. The redesigned MyŠkoda app introduces several enhancements to make life with the Enyaq more convenient, including new functions for electric vehicles such as Predictive Maintenance. Powerpass is now fully integrated into the app. Additional digital features, accessible via the MyŠkoda app on a smartphone, simplify parking and vehicle access, while updates to the infotainment system further enhance the user experience. Moreover, the list of standard assistance systems has been expanded to include Side Assist and Crew Protect Assist.

Enhanced MyŠkoda app with a host of new functions

The latest version of the MyŠkoda app introduces several enhancements designed to make life with a Škoda car even more convenient and enjoyable. Powerpass is now seamlessly integrated into the app, providing access to over 800,000 charging points across Europe. The Enyaq’s Škoda Connect services now include Lock & Unlock, enabling users to remotely secure or access their vehicle via the app. Another new feature, Predictive Maintenance, uses driving data and the Vehicle Health Report to identify potential issues before they occur. This service monitors the traction battery, 12 V battery, brake pad wear, and air conditioning system. The Track & Explore tab allows users to follow the production status of their new vehicle and discover its features. Additionally, the integration of Plug & Charge into Powerpass simplifies charging at public stations by eliminating the need for external authorisation tools such as RFID cards or separate apps.

New digital features simplify parking and vehicle access

The optional Intelligent Park Assist introduces two new functions. Remote Park Assist allows the Enyaq to automatically enter parallel and perpendicular parking spaces while the owner controls it via the MyŠkoda app on their smartphone. Using Bluetooth, the system works with the owner standing near the vehicle while holding the key. After selecting the manoeuvre type, the Enyaq autonomously handles steering, braking, and movement.
Trained Parking enables the car to ‘learn’ approaches of up to 50 meters to five specific parking locations. Once a saved space is recognised, the Enyaq can drive itself there automatically using the Remote Trained Parking. This is controlled via the MyŠkoda app.
KESSY Advanced, standard for the Enyaq, offers added convenience with its Open-On-Approach function, which unlocks the doors and tailgate when the key holder comes within 1.5 metres of the car. Walk-Away Locking automatically locks the vehicle when the key moves beyond 2.5 metres.
Updates to the infotainment system further improve the user experience. A new Heaters button deactivates all heating functions with a single tap, while updates to the Vehicle and Apps menus move key settings into the Apps menu. The top bar now includes quick-access favourites for features like battery pre-heating, Intelligent Speed Assist, and Heaters. Additionally, users are now logged in automatically, eliminating the need for manual authentication on the welcome screen.

Additional standard assistance systems

Side Assist incl. Rear Traffic Alert and Exit Warning, Predictive Adaptive Cruise Control (pACC), which also uses Traffic Sign Recognition, and Traffic Jam Assist add to the extensive list of standard assistance systems. Also on board in every Enyaq is Front Assist including Predictive Cyclist Protection, Predictive Pedestrian Protection, Collision Avoidance Assist and Turn Assist. Lane Assist (basic), Side Assist incl. Rear Traffic Alert and Exit Warning, Attention and Drowsiness Assist and Crew Protect Assist are also always included as standard. Adaptive Lane Assist is part of the optional Travel Assist, now enhanced by the use of swarm data collected from Volkswagen Group vehicles. The Enyaq continuously downloads detailed maps of its surroundings, created by vehicles that have previously driven through the area. This data, protected by two-phase anonymisation, increases the system’s effectiveness and adaptability in various driving situations. Travel Assist also includes Adaptive Cruise Control, operational at all speeds, along with Traffic Jam Assist and Emergency Assist.
