Mladá Boleslav, 28 August 2024 – The Škoda Superb Sportline is the most athletic of the Superb models. Its dynamic appeal is immediately apparent from its 18" anthracite wheels, exterior accents in gloss black and redesigned Sportline badges on the front wings. Both of the two available Sportline interiors feature heated front sports seats with integrated head restraints and manually adjustable cushion length. Progressive steering and a sports chassis lowered by 15 mm as well as LED Matrix beam headlights and LED rear lights with animated indicators are included as standard.
Black exterior details and extensive standard equipment
The athletic appearance of the Škoda Superb Sportline is emphasised by gloss black details. As is typical for Škoda’s Sportline models, the grille surround, window frames, wing mirrors, the trim on the Sportline-specific front apron, additional elements on the front apron, the roof rails on the Combi estate and the Škoda lettering at the rear come in metallic black. The tailgate spoiler for the Hatch and the strip on the rear diffuser are also finished in gloss black. LED Matrix beam headlights, LED rear lights with animated indicators, a Coming/Leaving Home function and an electric tailgate with a virtual pedal are standard. The Superb Sportline rolls on the new anthracite 18-inch polished Vela aero wheels with matt black Aero covers as standard. 19-inch silver Aniara aero wheels with matt black Aero covers and 19-inch black Torcular wheels are available as options. The front wings are adorned with redesigned Sportline badges.
Additional comfort features
Furthermore, the Superb Sportline also offers comfort-enhancing features. One of these is KESSY Advanced, which includes a new automatic locking and unlocking function and adds recess lighting for the exterior door handles. The SunSet tinted rear and rear side windows further emphasise the sporty look of the car and also ensure that the interior remains cool in summer. The laminated glass of the acoustic side windows at the front and rear reduces the noise level in the vehicle. Other standard features include the sports chassis lowered by 15 mm and progressive steering. DCC Sport is available as an option.
Black interior with two Design Selections to choose from
The new Superb Sportline offers two Design Selections for the interior. Both interiors feature heated front sports seats with integrated head restraints and manually adjustable cushion length. The standard Suedia Sport Design Selection comes with fully electrically adjustable ergonomic front seats and a massage function with ten pneumatically controlled air cushions, covered in a combination of Suedia and artificial leather. The optional Suite Sport Design Selection offers ergonomic front sports seats certified by AGR (Aktion Gesunder Rücken – Healthy Back Campaign, an independent German organisation) with improved ergonomics and seat memory including Smart Comfort Entry, ventilation and a massage function with ten pneumatically controlled air cushions, upholstered in perforated leather and artificial leather. The roof lining is always black. The decorative strips on the dashboard and in the door trims have a carbon-effect finish. The stainless-steel pedal covers provide another sporty and dynamic touch. The Superb Sportline comes with a three-spoke multifunction sports steering wheel that features black stitching and a Sportline badge. Like the other models in the series, the Superb Sportline complements the 10‑inch Virtual Cockpit, which has Sportline-specific graphics, with a standard free-standing 10‑inch infotainment screen. Ambient lighting is also standard for both Design Selections.
