“ŠKODA is increasingly focusing on emotion and passion,” says ŠKODA CEO Prof. Dr. h.c. Winfried Vahland. “The new ŠKODA Superb Combi emphasises this bold claim. In addition to an outstanding amount of space, high practicality and innovative technology, it’s our latest model’s emotional design that sets it apart.”
Even pro cyclist Kittel was impressed by the brand’s latest estate model: “To claim victory as a professional cyclist, it’s important to find exactly the right bike for you. A bike you know is going to be great from the first metre and you can rely on. I had that same feeling with the new ŠKODA Superb Combi. I was convinced at first sight.”
ŠKODA and cycling have gone hand in hand for the last 120 years. It was in 1895 that the company launched their production of bicycles. Since then, cycling has been a cornerstone in ŠKODA’s sponsorship strategy. In addition to the Tour de France, the carmaker supports various other international cycling races, such as the ‘Vuelta’ Tour of Spain, as well as numerous national and international grass-roots cycling events. “Our company’s success story began 120 years ago with the construction of bicycles. This is why promoting cycling around the world is one of our great commitments – be it for professionals, families or leisure activities.”
The ŠKODA Superb Combi has reached a new level in terms of design and technology, and the model meets the highest demands on design and functionality. The dynamic and elegant Superb Combi offers the most space in its segment with the highest comfort. There are also innovative solutions for excellent connectivity and a comprehensive range of active and passive safety systems, including the latest assistance systems. The new ŠKODA Superb Combi sets new records in fuel consumption and emissions with improvements of up to 30 percent compared to its predecessor.
A particularly sporty version of the new ŠKODA Superb is soon to be released: Both the saloon and estate versions of the ŠKODA Superb SportLine have sporty design elements in the exterior and interior, as well as comprehensive equipment packages. The most noteworthy features of the ŠKODA Superb SportLine include the black 18 or 19-inch alloy wheels, the tinted rear side windows and back window (sunset), and the sport chassis lowered by 15 mm.
