Video: precautionary measures in ŠKODA AUTO production

› ŠKODA AUTO and its social partner, the KOVO Union, have introduced more than 80 mandatory measures to keep staff healthy
› Short video posted by the car manufacturer shows how the precautions have been implemented into daily operations

Mladá Boleslav, 18 May 2020 – In close consultation with the KOVO Union, production of vehicles and components at ŠKODA AUTO’s three Czech production plants resumed on 27 April 2020. The carmaker has released a video illustrating how it has implemented precautions at its sites to protect the health of its workforce.

Following the scheduled restart of production at its three Czech plants two weeks ago, ŠKODA AUTO has also once again been manufacturing cars in night shifts in Mladá Boleslav and Kvasiny since Monday 11 May 2020. The company is thus another step closer to normal everyday operations and is continuing to make use of its comprehensive ‘Safe Production’ and ‘Safe Office’ concept. ŠKODA AUTO is optimally protecting the health of its staff by actively and effectively preventing them from catching Covid-19 in the workplace using comprehensive hygiene measures and organisational precautions in operations.

The company, together with its social partner, the KOVO Union, has developed and implemented more than 80 obligatory precautions. A short video posted by the manufacturer on its online channels illustrates how these actually look at the factories.
