Explorers on adventurous road trips, pinnacles of sporting achievement, eMobility enthusiasts and encounters with unexpected professions you might not expect to find in a car manufacturer. As it does every year, in 2024 Škoda Storyboard gave you the chance to meet lots of interesting people. Refresh your memory with us.
In the past year, Škoda Storyboard introduced you to a number of people who aren’t afraid of exploring. A fleet of electric Škoda Enyaqs, for example, went on an adventurous journey across the dunes and deserts of Morocco. They drove all the way to the world’s most famous desert via a unique solar power plant.

Adventure and exploration have long since ceased to be the prerogative of travellers – you can experience them while watching a movie or sitting at a computer. No wonder, then, that the Škoda brand took its first steps into the world of legendary racing game Gran Turismo this year. The Czech carmaker’s first contribution to this world is the futuristic Škoda Vision Gran Turismo concept.
Škoda is dedicated to innovation and exploration not only on the road, but perhaps most of all in car development. This year, for example, the company opened a new Virtual Development Centre. This facility will significantly help to streamline the development of new cars. Innovations can be virtually tried out right from the idea stage.
Škoda Storyboard ran several series that gave you the chance to meet the people who write the Škoda story, whether inside the car factory or behind the wheel of its cars. Škoda Enyaq drivers shared their experiences of the model, offering hints and tips as well as colourful stories from their travels.
Recycled bumpers, panelling parts made partly from recycled frying oil, carpets made from old mattresses... innovations that could soon be heading for series production in Škoda cars. But first they need to be tested, and that’s what the IVET Show Car concept is for, showcasing 20 ideas for recycled materials.
