Top-level Safety for ŠKODA SUPERB
Euro NCAP put the ŠKODA Superb through its crash tests, and awarded it the maximum 5-star rating.
Euro NCAP is an independent consortium of transport ministries, motoring and consumer groups that carries out crash tests on new car models. The results for ŠKODA show the effectiveness of its efforts to achieve safety.
In the event of a collision, the vehicle is well prepared. Up to nine airbags, a more rigid body and specifically optimised crumple zones offer the best possible protection for driver and passengers. But there are also new assistance systems to help the driver keep at a safe distance and stay in lane. The ŠKODA Superb also makes use of new brake technology.
Some models have further systems to offer even more safety behind the wheel. For example, Blind Spot Detect, Rear Traffic Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control, Driver Alert (fatigue detection) and Travel Assist (traffic sign recognition).
All of which help to make the ŠKODA Superb safer than ever before.
